(no subject)
My DS is missing. What am I saying? Of course it's missing! I found it after it disappeared for a year, played it for two weeks, bought a couple of new games for it, and now it's MIA again. Again. It's possible it's just stuffed into a drawer somewhere. It's also entirely possible it was stolen out of my bag at some point, given the prior history of what goes down at my job/campus/gym and the sheer amount of mass transit traveling I do in a week. Maybe it fell out of my bag? I feel like that's the sort of thing you'd notice tumble out of a bag. But it has happened before (WITH THAT RIDICULOUSLY EXPENSIVE CARDIGAN I LOST). Am v. sad panda. At least the release of the 3DS means the price of the DS has gone down, so if I can't find it in a month, I'll replace it. You'll just have to a wait a month for Princess Peach to rescue you, Mario, sorry.

(My iPod shuffle also went mysteriously missing, too, and that I know was sitting in a specific drawer because I needed a new charger for. I am not happy about that at all, and it's making me angrily suspicious of the people my brother brings into this house.)
In other game-related news, I am finally - FINALLY - going to pick up Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword. YES I KNOW I'M LATE, but it's okay. The Internet has long managed to spoil everything significant about the game, but I am a Nintendo-holic, so playing is still necessary. ALSO, HOW ADORABLE IS LINK IN THAT GAME? He's so dorky. He reminds me of Shad from Twilight Princess, if Shad took a level in badass and stopped being an elitist twat. (I ALSO JUST REALIZED THAT MY COPY OF TWILIGHT PRINCESS IS MISSING, TOO. OF COURSE IT IS, WHY WOULD I EVER LOSE NON-EXPENSIVE SHIT?) Also, Zelda seems to really dig him in this game. Is your dry spell over, Link? Can you play big, strong soldier and little, lost damsel with something other than your hand for once? DON'T SPOIL ME FOR THE ENDING, YOU BASTARDS - oh wait, that's right, the Internet already has. This game makes me want to get back into writing, though. I might try to produce something by the end of the week. Shit, it's been nearly four years. Who am I to criticize a dry spell.
ALSO, I AM PLAYING THE SHIT OUT OF OKAMI RIGHT NOW (it's been sitting on my dresser for almost two years, what the shit is wrong with me) AND OH MY GOD IS IT AMAZING. You get to pee on your enemies. YOU GET TO PEE ON YOUR ENEMIES. My inner five year old is thrilled.
(ON A FINAL NOTE, I AM CHARGING MY NEW NOOK, WHICH I GOT FOR CHRISTMAS AND WAS TOO LAZY TO REGISTER. AMAZED THAT DIDN'T DISAPPEAR IN THE INTERIM, TOO.)
