Cara
Cara looked around the room, it was perfect, red petals scattered over the (freshly made, with silk sheets no less) bed, candles just waiting to be lit, the faint scent of roses perfuming the air. Just about the only thing that needed to get ready was her.
She unzipped her leathers, shoving them in a dresser drawer before walking over to the wardrobe to fetch the dress she'd gotten just for tonight. The saleswoman had assured her she looked amazing in it, but that didn't stop her from smoothing the fabric over her stomach, trying to calm the butterflies, she was just so excited and nervous about this.
This was such an important date.
Surreal
A very important date indeed, which was why Surreal was wearing a gold silk dress that showed a scandalous amount of leg, even by her standards, and clung to her curves in such a way as to leave little to the imagination.
Her own heart was thudding loudly in her ears as she - politely, even - knocked on the door of Cara's suite.
Cara
Cara started and let out a tiny squeak when she heard the door.
"Cara Mason, you need to get a hold of yourself," she told herself, checking her make-up one final time before opening the door.
Then just kind of staring. A lot.
Surreal
Oh, my. The staring was mutual, since her Cara wasn't typically one to be so femme and pretty. Well, Cara was always pretty, but this! Surreal felt fluttery.
"Well now sugar, if you're expecting company, I can go," she teased, mustering up her bravado.
Cara
Cara could feel her cheeks heat up as she blushed, Surreal always wore the prettiest dresses (though this gold one was something else) unlike her who just wore that same old leather catsuit day in, day out.
"I'm expecting the prettiest girl on the island," Cara replied coyly, before adding more shyly. "I hope she likes my outfit." Because she'd dressed up just for a certain gold-green-eyed witch, in case anyone was still unclear about that.
Surreal
Oh, her blushes were just adorable, and Surreal was tempted to just nibble on Cara's cheeks right here.
"Huh. Well, if she hasn't shown up, I guess I'll have to keep you company," Surreal purred, slinking her way (sexily) into Cara's room. "I can always go if she shows up."
Cara
Was that Cara's heart skipping a beat as her eyes followed Surreal? She thought it was.
"I'd like it if you did," she told her, closing the door behind her. "If she didn't come, I'd hate to spend tonight alone."
Surreal
"As if you'd ever spend the night alone unless you really wanted to do so," Surreal scoffed. "You know they fall like flies when you bat those lashes of yours."
Cara
"But what if I only want the one girl to fall?" Cara grinned. "Do you think she would?"
The sincerity underlying that teasing question hurt.
Surreal
"I don't know about fall..." But push her girlfriend up against that door to kiss her in a sexy manner? That Surreal could do without falling over.
Cara
Cara sighed into the kiss, her hands fluttering up to rest on the other girl's waist. Surreal was just so forceful (despite the fact her lips were so soft) and sexy.
She kissed back until she was literally breathless.
Surreal
"Now who is falling for who?" Surreal smirked. "Darkness, you're beautiful when you've been kissed breathless."
It was possible Surreal was going to want to stab herself when she was back in her own head.
Cara
A good girlfriend would make sure to stab Cara first.
"Too late," she gasped, resting her forehead against Surreal's. "I already fell."
Surreal
Stabbings all around! ...which, to be fair, was their usual foreplay rather than...this.
Surreal grinned and pulled a burst of power from her Green to try and literally sweep Cara off her feet and carry her over to the bed.
Cara
Instead of turning this into the kind of wrestling match that usually didn't make the bed, Cara let out a little shriek of laughter.
"Put me down," she protested, but not especially hard, not when what she was feeling was so overwhelming. She slid an arm around around Surreal's shoulders and curled in closer against her chest.
Surreal
"'Down?'" Surreal echoed, looking very impish. "Are you sure about that, my love?"
Cara
Something in Cara's chest went very hot and tight at the endearment (and if she ever found out afterwards who was responsible for this she would make them wish for death).
"Darling?" she asked warily, curling a lock of Surreal's silky raven hair around a finger. "I know that look."
Wish. For. Death.
