yesterday i got to go to alameda because i had a dentist appointment, and as a reward for having the most perfectist teeths ever, my dental hygienist wanda gave me a silver colored toothbrush, TWO travel-sized toothpastes, and a travel floss. who's up for a slumber party? but it can't be at my house, because it's illegal to use travel anything unless you're away from home.
then i went to my parents' house and jenny and mojita came over and we all had dinner together. we had chicken stew and polenta and, like, the best salad ever that yours truly prepared herself. then hak came over. he's up in the area because his friend, jason, just moved to fremont. see, jason grew up with hak and his cousins in pennsylvania. he moved to the bay area, and then moved to LA to do movie-type stuff, but he just moved back up. his girlfriend still lives in the bay area. and now he does, too. huh.
so hak and i came back to the city and we fell asleep SUPER early. like, 11:30 early. i shouldn't have been so tired this morning, but i was. this aroebics thing is CRAZY. it's so hard; i always feel likei'm going to fall over. how long does it take until this is easy? oooh ohh, kourtney young is in my class. i have to tell nate.
oh, and on monday, i was on a PIRATE SHIP. i know, i know--pirates are so 2002, but it was fun. it was this bay cruise up in marin on a replica of an 18th century pirate ship. i went with joanie and a bunch of ushers, bartenders, and disney representatives from the orpheum. it cost $35 plus tip and they gave us all this cheese and fruit and cookies and wine and beer (which ran out really quickly, for some reason) and they shot 4 cannons at the hyde street pier. oh, and we all had to dress like pirates. two kids actually rented costums, but most of us just looked like... like we were trying to be pirates, but we didn't want to spend too much energy on it. one girl looked like she was going to prom or winter ball or something.
next week, they're having a beach party. orpheum kids know how to party.
