so, Movin' Out is over. Bye bye, Movin' Out. I'll miss you, Brender and Eddie and James and Bald James and Stupid Brenda and all that crap. Last night, in celebration, when we dropped Noah off at his apartment, we listened to Billy Joel from Anil's car and danced in the street to the choreography of Twyla Tharp. That shit ain't so hard. Now it's all Lion King and Dame Edna from here.
In addition to being losers on California St at three in the morning, all the ushers had a dinner party at Original Joe's and then a good handful of us went to Zeitgeist, and we were fantastic customers and ordered all this stuff, but then one of us had brought in an outside "malternative beverage" and we all got kicked out and we're not allowed to go back. Like, one person brought it in and they kicked out all 10 of us. It makes sense, but they were really mean. But then we went to the Arrow instead which was a lot cheaper, and Joanie even danced. Then we went to some kind of after party for, like, a second, but it was still okay.
And Hak was here for a FULL TWO WEEKS! We had a lot of sushi and good times. I have him a t-shirt that says Hershey Park (because, you know, that's where he's from) and it totally looks awesome on him. We had a good visit. I can't share more in an open entry because it's private and secret like a good relationship should be. Oh ho, just kidding. But I really can't. We'll gossip later. No, really, just kidding.
Oh, and Nate and I were in a car accident. I have minor whiplash and Nate hasn't called me yet after his doctor appointment, but I think he's okay, too. We were on 280 between Alamany and Ocean, and the car in front of us had stopped, so we stopped too, but then the car behind us slammed into the back of Nate's car and we hit the car in front of us. I'd never been in that major of an accident before. It was fucking scary as hell. We could hear the tires screaching behind us and we knew we were going to get hit, but we couldn't do anything about it. Then afterwards, Nate was doing his insurance deal and I was crying hysterically. It was weird. I think my adreniline was doing something to my emotions, because it was weird. I did stop like half an hour later when the paramedics came because I felt weird about getting all slobbery on professionals. Whiplash is weird. My right side hurts and is really stiff and sometimes I get headaches, and my doctor said that would last weeks.
And I bought a reusable water bottle and all of Shelly's old clothes. I walk around all day pretending I'm a really well-hydrated Michelle. It's pretty cool.
