there is this old man who walks by my building 2 or 3 times a week, i seem to always see him, even accidently looking out the window and he's there walking by. the first time i saw him he had on an old sea captain's hat and a long navy jacket, he had one of those white beards that perfectly framed his chin but there was no mustache attached. he had sort of a hobble but im pretty sure he had all his limbs. so anyway, im beginning to develop all these made up stories about people that i don't know. im thinking in 1929 he fixed up his dad's fishing boat and spent every year at sea until a few years ago. and because he was married to the sea, he never met anyone to love aside from the seahags that hang around the ports of the northwest. now he lives in his mother's (who passed away about 15 years ago) apartment in capital hill, lucky for him it has a view of the sound in which every morning he wakes and longs to be rocked asleep by the churning rough wake of the pacific ocean.
im seeing hood tonite, thrilled shitless to say the least. and i've heard good things about the opener strategy. im trying to quit smoking now, and its not going very well. anyone successfully done this? anything that specifically worked?
