(no subject)
so, last nite was fun.. i hosted my first ever spur of the moment fruity cocktail drinking party. the first drink was a horror, i decided not to buy drink mixes cuz i had fresh fruits, and they're pure sugar.. well.. the fresh strawberries and keylimes did not make a nice union. the first taste smelled of fecal matter and was way too chunky and almost made me gag, margiritas were next are almost impossible to ruin, next was a medley i attempted with no direction, slices of peaches and mangoes (sp) with a little extra rum, it turned out fabulous, like a slushie almost. once we ran out of fruit we had to improvise using ibc cherry limeade soda and rum. also pretty good...
okay now that i've explained that im an alcoholic, i am interested in reading some books.. i've spent the last couple of years reading long and dragging series books and a few classics, i really enjoy works of fiction a little on the dark side, not neccesarily books about vampires but.. my favorite books right now are lemony snickets series, lolita, roald dahls works, murakami's norweigan wood and sputnik sweetheart, and a few various graphic novels... okay.. so reccommend!!!! i wanna know what you are reading and what you love and why!!! please and thank you.
