Okay, Grands went better than I expected, since we were able to make it all the way to finals this year. :) Yay! (And Arnie, we accomplished both our goals in the process!) :))

It was kinda sad, the final round, because Gica and I realized that all the people debating there with us would be gone the next time Grands rolled around. It feels really weird knowing that Pao, Jen, Krisha, Mikee, Anna and Arianne wont be there anymore next year. I guess its cause, well, they've always been there. Congratulations to Pao and Mikee! :) Way to end your High School debating career, guys! :)

And Arnie, thank you for everything.
For all our debate traditions that everyone else would find maarte (like our Canadian paper and glitter pens),
for knowing exactly what to say when I took your points,
for always telling me that I was awesome,
for our secret debate notebook (we must burn!),
for the twins,
for dealing with the moderators,
for knowing exactly what to improve on depending on which adj we got,
for slapping me whenever we went against him,
for letting me yell at you for going insane when he enters our round,
for not getting angry when we dont make it farther because of my IDeA curse,
for understanding how awful it is to see the letters OG on that little slip of paper,
for never breaking the dress code,
for letting me break the dress code,
for breaking top team,
for breaking second,
for paper stars, stars on paper, stars on the board, and stars in your bag,
for your matter (real or made up),
for our hung cases, and switched cases,
for all the fun debates,
for all the nationals we've gone to,
for all our wins, all our losses, and all our BOXED OUT BY XAVIER moments,
thank you.
