Escape the cage

Today I took my bicycle to work in the great weather. My 8 mile trip took about 90 minutes for a rough average speed of 6mph. I found the biggest problem was the exhaust for all the cars, the second was the hill out of Des Moines towards the airport. I am think on the way home to go through the valley then walk up 260th to avoid the hill up to 518 and the others on marine view dr. This weekend is going to be fun, even though both days will require a car.
