(no subject)
Thank God the deadline for the KFM challenge was extended. This is one challenge that I really want to participate in... I mean come on, the topic is "character death". I got an idea to take a piece that's been sitting half-finished on my hard drive since September, twist the ending so the character dies instead of lives, and post it. Problem is, I'm trying to finish it and polish it at the same time and I'm starting to realize why I abandoned the piece. Ick. But, since it isn't due till Friday now, instead of tomorrow, I have some time to either fix it up a lot, or just get a new idea. I'm hoping for the first option only because the piece won't fit in anywhere else. Eh.
I'm trying to decide which video games I want to buy. I've decided that since I'm not going on my normal book spree this summer, where I drop 200 bucks on books in one swap (I do this way too often. I have 10 books sitting on my nightstand, I'm not allowed to buy more), I'm going to put some money on video games. I know I want to save my money this summer, but it's not like I'm going to spend it on anything else. So I'm trying to decide on these games, most of which are old:
Prince of Persia: Warrior Within (I want to play through this one before I get to Two Thrones)
LEGO Star Wars (It looks just too funny to ignore.)
Tomb Raider: Legend (Though the series has really fallen lately, this one supposedly brings it back. I'm interested)
The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion (This one has stuck in my head for a while. I'm becoming very fond of RPGs.)
If I could find God of War for the PC too, I would like to get that... but I need to decide. PoP might be the cheapest, but the others aren't too bad. I don't know, I'll see. Now that I've totally labeled myself as a nerd, I think I'm going to go find something else to do. Probably going to start work this week. Hopefully I'll be online more often... even though I'm on dial-up *twitch* I've got my laptop hooked up and running, so I'm pretty happy. Alright, off I go!
