Global Night Commute!!!
I am so incredibly excited right now. Katy just walked out the door, and I'll be leaving in about an hour. I'm slightly disappointed though, because I won't be doing the actual walk anymore. I'm going to be one of the people helping to run the whole thing and keep it semi-organized. So instead of walking, they want me down at the park at 5 to start signing people and handing out things and just doing what I can. There are about 55,000 people participating across the country and over 1800 people coming to the Chicago one... it's going to be chaos!! I don't know how many of us are going to be running it, but I'm sure we'll make it work.
Also, one of the filmmakers, Jason is going to be there! I am so thrilled with that part, I can't wait to meet him. And there's another amazing guest, even better than Jason, but I can't tell yet. I might have squealed when I heard the news... I can't be sure. Still, I can't tell everyone how excited I am about this. Yeah, it's cloudy and rainy and windy, but it's going to be a lot of fun anyway. Supposedly all the major news shows will be there too covering the event... which is just what we want. We want to bring attention this situation and hopefully this is a step in the right direction. I'll be taking a bunch of pictures, I'll post them after I get them developed.
Now, I have to go and figure out what I'm wearing exactly... it's all about layers. Have a great night everyone and watch the news, maybe you'll see me!
