For those of you who know my type of apparel...

I don't have much to say tonight but I do have an interesting story to tell about my clothes shopping experience with my parents:

My mom decided that it would be nice to treat her little Ely (because big Ely is my dad) to some new clothing items; even though he is 19! yes thats me 19 years old. My dad and brother came along and my little brother expected some to get some clothing of his own (except thats hard to pull off with my dad around since my brother is fashion god of the universe and requires a hefty amount of cash to get a T-Shirt). We make our way to the mall after a few interesting detours to visit some family members; including my racist grandfather that refers to the black people on TV as "monos" I'll let you find out what that means its rather simple. We finally arrive at the mall and I start walking a little faster to lose my dad so me and my mom can go to the girl stores so I can buy jeans... Well ya see... that didn't happen my dad was there the whole time. He was never told that his little logic-buff son has a thing for women's bell bottom jeans... He was simultaneously amused and confused by the whole thing. Then he saw why I wear long shirts when I was showing him how they looked... (he was determined to see how I looked in them to see if had missed something all along) He asks me to lift my shirt a bit... and realizes why they are called low-rider jeans... and begins to laugh and tells me to put my shirt back down. Then he proceeds to tell me: "back when I was your age I had jeans just like those; except they still made them for guys..."
