Why you ask?

I'm always getting the question, "Rocky, why do you believe that love is sacrific?"

Alright kids, listen up...I'm going to get religious, I'm going to get realistic, and I'm going to get personal.

Lets go with the religious aspect first:

So if you've read the Bible, or even know who Jesus Christ is then you'll understand that He died on a cross. (torture device where the person would be placed on a giant cross and have their limbs nailed through the wood to hold them up)Alright so you ask why he was mounted upon this device. Well I could sit here and explain the whole story or just sum it all up in a few words of emotion. Jesus Christ sacrificed his life for the sake of our people. He told us that, no matter what, we should never be seduced by evil and bad moral. "to sacrifice for love is to rebirth new life" (written scenery)

Alright now for the "realistic" part of the show...

You say you live your life day by day. You say you live your life with goals and achievements.
But what good is anything with out a heart. When you love someone, you do anything in your power to keep them loving you back. You may not sacrifice your life, as Jesus did, but you may sacrifice things you do. Look, you're all reading this thinking gosh sacrifice? that seems like an act of desperation. No. when I sacrifice something for someone I love, to make them love me back, it's not a sacrifice anymore, because it's mutually affective. BUT it always starts out as one.

Oh gosh, time to get personal...

Look at your everyday life and think about the sacrifices you've made for the love of someone. Think about all the things you didn't really want to do at first but then when you did, it made the person you love happy. In return making you happy of course. The reason I got this tattoo "Love is Sacrifice" is because of everything above. It's just like people that wear crosses, or other religious symbols, I just happen to like words so I spelled it out :)

I hope this has been helpful to some people, and if not? well I don't know what to tell ya =/

PS Don't think that sacrifice only came from Jesus and his death on the cross. Many other religions believe in this factor as well. There's this one religion... The lord at the time had 2 sons. The 2 sons willingly gave there lives by being suffocated in a brick box because they knew that no matter what, if you had faith in God, you were untouchable. Any Evil that tried to distort and/or kill you would be sent to hell. So just remember that if you keep your faith, you're a morally good person, and you don't dwell on regrets, you should NEVER fear death.
