What a weekend!
Ok, so I promised I'd update and here it is! (Insert halleluiah chorus here) ;)
Ok, so Friday. Wow...Aerika threw me a surprise going away party over at the theatre house (Later found out Matt was in on this too). I was SO surprised! I had NO idea they were doing this! *Everyone* was there! I was in shock for a good hour or so after we got there and came very close to crying multiple times. I just couldn't believe it. I still can't to be honest...I mean, my friends...they are...wow...I can't even find the right words...I just...they care for me so much...I'm going to miss them. ;_; Ok, no crying...So I found out that I had to do a wind ensemble concert on Friday, so I couldn't go to the DanceWorks concert. I went and played my concert first and then Aerika came by and said we were going out. (PS: yes, I was the klutz who took three steps outside Centennial and promptly fell on her knees.) Aerika did my hair and my makeup. It looked fabulous! I wish I had remembered to take pictures. I thought something was up, but dismissed it because Aerika liked to do it. Anyways, it turns out she was talking about this online the *whole* time with Matt and Jen. I still feel stupid for not noticing it. Anyways, we get over to the Theatre House and everyone's there! Someone bought me champagne or wine or something...lol, yea, I'm not really sure what it was, but it was good. :) People kept coming up to me and telling me about the first time they met me and all that stuff....I was quite embarassed lol. Never had that happen. oh, and speaking of embarassed...Matt apparently decided he was going to give me a lap dance...crossdressed. I was in the kitchen and people started screaming for me to get into the living room. "Lucy" came down the stairs...oh my. I was SO embarassed! I'd never had a lap dance before...certainly not from a crossdressed man either. Very scary. lol It was funny. I'm sure there are pictures floating around somewhere. They also played RENT at some point during the night and I danced on a table! It was a lot of fun! I want to do it again! hahaha!
Saturday was Jen's birthday. She turned 21. HAPPY BIRTHDAY JEN!! We were invited out to Olive Garden - black tie affair. :) By the time Aerika and I got there, Jen had already had a few from the bar and was slightly tipsy. I had brought her present the night before (Bacardi Gold - that was the excuse Aerika gaveme for getting me oer to the house) but while waiting to be seated - 2 hours! - Aerika, Steph, and I went over to Target and we bought her a hot pink feather boa, a sparkly tiara, and a white feather fan. I laughed for the rest of the night because she wore it almost the whole night! hahahaha. :) Well, as per usual during a 21st birthday, everyone bought Jen drinks. Well, this led to a LOT of funny quotes, which we typed up later and sent back to her. muahahaha-a-a! ;) Anyways, after Olive Garden, we went back to 121 and proceeded to commence with the rest of the normal 21st birthday festivities. I brought orange juice, sparkling cider, and my 99 blackberries and Aerika and I made punch for the house members. I'm not a huge eggnog fan, so I figured it would be good to bring something I would actually enjoy drinking. :)
Sunday my Daddy came to help pack my room up. All I've got left right now are my books, my computer, and my tv. It looks so bare! :( White walls drive me nuts - reminds me of an institution or something. He didn't get here until 2, so I missed the APO christmas party. :( But I needed to get my room situated. Afterwards, Aerika and I took my Dad to Buffalo Wild Wings. Aerika and my Dad like the really hot, spicy stuff, so I thought it'd be funny to watch. ;) I could only really handle the medium ones.
Monday I woke up at 10, realized I didn't have to be up for classes and went back to bed. lol. I've been staying up very late working on exam stuff and whatnot, so I didn't feel too bad about it. Aerika and I went to lunch and then I took her to Kenna's to get some costumes for our voice recital on Tuesday (BE THERE PLEASE). Then it was straight to dress rehearsal. I'll be using the microphone, though. I'm just not loud enough yet to do without it. I felt kinda sluttly in my RENT costume but only because it's not something I would normally wear, but I've been told I can pull it off, so....yea. lol. If you want to find out more, then stop by Dillard Theatre Tuesday at 5pm. ;)
