As I understand, the GDA gives out Bonsang awards to a few artists for full albums (Disk) and digital singles (Digital), while only one artist/group will get the Daesang for each category. And they also have popularity awards.

I think getting the Bonsang doesn't feel as great as winning an award in MKMF, because you're not the only one receiving it, so the real excitement comes with the Daesang. I think that GDA gives out awards based mostly on album sales.

Disk Bonsang Award Winners:

Digital Bonsang Award Winners:
- SNSD
- Davichi
- Son Dambi
- Baek Ji Young
- Lee Seung Gi
(I wonder why the digital winners are mostly female artists?)

Samsung YEPP Popularity Award Winners:
- SHINee
- Super Junior

Digital Daesang Winner: SNSD - Gee (YAY!)

Disk Daesang Winner: Super Junior - Sorry, Sorry (HUZZAH!!!!!!!)

Wow, last year DBSK won the Disk Daesang for Mirotic, and now Super Junior won for Sorry, Sorry while SNSD won the Digital Daesang for Gee! POWER TO SM!

I'm so proud of all of them! *cries happy tears*
