Title: The Week Before Valentine's
Pairing: Seungri/Seohyun, with appearances by SNSD and Big Bang members

Summary: An account of the nine days leading to Valentine's Day, and the romance that buds between the two maknaes

Seungri knows he’s acting just like one of the lovesick fanboys they in Big Bang like to ridicule - in private of course; some of them are army guys - but he can’t help it.
Hopefully unnoticed by the rest of the members, he’s spent his free time the past two days online watching SNSD music videos, live performances, radio shows, variety shows - anything that has SNSD in it. Or more specifically, anything that has Seohyun in it.
He clicks on the ‘Kissing You’ music video link for the third time and watches the saccharine sweet song and cutesy dance again, eyes crinkling as Seohyun comes out to sing the first line. He feels a bit annoyed as Donghae from Super Junior attempts to be charming and tries to fit the shoe on Seohyun’s stockinged foot.
He’s got to be at least what, four, five years older than us? Flirting with young girls like that…a niggling voice at the back of his head says he just doesn’t want to admit that he’s more cross because Donghae’s better-looking than he is.
Noticing a link to the making of the MV, Seungri clicks on it and begins to watch the short video, wondering why on earth anyone would create a dance with rainbow-coloured lollipops that were sticky and flew off the stick with little effort.
Then Donghae appears on the screen, and Seungri snaps back to attention when the camera cuts to Donghae speaking in front of it, with Seohyun sitting demurely on a plastic green-and-pink thing he thinks is meant to be a horse.
The recorded music starts, and Seungri snorts as Donghae prances around cutely with a red heart-shaped lollipop. Donghae offers - more like brandishes, Seungri thinks - the lollipop to Seohyun…who folds her arms and shakes her head, to the exaggerated dismay of Donghae.
Youngbae strolls in later to borrow something, and wonders why their maknae is grinning like an idiot.

Seohyun grins as the poor man holding the long-poled microphone runs around picking out the loudest fans at Lee Hana’s Peppermint to have a chance to voice their feelings. She feels a slight tinge of envy when Yuri’s ex-classmate from middle school states that he’s been watching her all this while, and when another fan declares his love for Taeyeon.
She muses that it might be nice to have someone to watch over her like that as well. Then one of the fans suddenly says that he would like to receive the prepared chocolates from Seohyun herself, and she’s forcibly reminded of Seungri’s request the day before, stunned again into nervous laughter.
Later on they perform Kissing You, and it’s time to hand out the aforementioned chocolates halfway through the song. Seohyun picks up one of the plastic-wrapped bundles of chocolate and walks to the centre stage behind the others.
Unconsciously, the idea of presenting Seungri with chocolates pops into her mind, and she’s so thrown off that she sings too quickly, barely managing to smile at the recording video-camera.
After the performance she tries to assure herself it’s just the atmosphere of Valentine’s getting to her brain, but the quickened beating of her heart tells her otherwise.
