A/N: just something I wrote to de-stress from studying for exams :)
In light of the upcoming exams, SM Entertainment pop idols have produced several skits based on Shakespeare’s plays to encourage interest in studying classic English literature. SM Entertainment will be releasing the footage on their official Youtube channel at midnight on November 31st, 2012. - Newsen
1. Much Ado about Nothing
“Come here, Suho.” Siwon beckons to the other man. “What was it you told me about today, that your niece Sunny was in love with our Sungmin?”
“I didn’t think that lady would have loved any man.” Kyuhyun admits to the audience.
“Me neither.” Suho smiles blindingly. “But most wonderful that she should so dote on Sungmin-ssi, whom she has in all outward behaviour seemed to abhor.”
Sungmin gasps for effect. “Is it possible? Sits the wind in that corner?”
“Yes, my daughter says so, and she fears that Sunny will do a desperate outrage to herself.” Suho continues.
(“He really looks like a grandpa here.” Chanyeol mutters to Kai, who grins and nods.)
“What would be the point of letting him know?” Kyuhyun sighs. “Sungmin-hyung would make a sport of it and torment the poor lady even worse. And she is exceedingly virtuous and wise.”
“In everything but in loving Sungmin.” Siwon quips, earning a dirty look from his hyung.
“Seohyun thinks surely Sunny will die, for she says she will die if he does not love her, before she makes her love known.” Kyuhyun informs them.
(“I never knew you were such a desperate lover, unni.” Seohyun giggles from the sidelines.
Sunny groans. “Why do Sungmin-oppa and I have to be a couple for this? I just managed to get rid of all the rumours about us!”
“Don’t worry.” Yoona says seriously. “The SeoKyu pairing has already surpassed the SunSun pairing.”
“Why couldn’t I have been paired with any of the SNSD noonas?” Baekhyun bemoans sadly. Chanyeol pats him comfortingly on the shoulder.)
2. As You Like It
“I swear to you, by the white hand of Sulli, that I am he.” Minho places a hand dramatically over his heart.
“But are you so much in love as your poems speak?” Sulli scoffs.
“Neither rhyme nor reason can express how much.” Minho declares, eliciting a disgusted snort from Jonghyun by the side.
“Love is merely a madness. Yet I propose curing it by counsel.”
(“Sulli’s really gotten good as acting as a boy.” Jinki comments to Victoria.
“Yes, she got some good coaching when she was in To the Beautiful You.” Victoria whispers back. “To be honest, I didn’t really buy into her cross-dressing act for the first half of the drama.”)
“I heard that!”
3. Macbeth
“Double, double, toil and trouble. Fire burn and cauldron bubble.” Ryeowook chants as he stirred the pot of kimchi jjigae.
“Fillet of a fenny snake in the cauldron boil and bake. Eye of newt and toe of frog, wool of bat and tongue of dog.” Kyuhyun recites with difficulty, bemoaning how he gets all the hard lines in the song as he chops up the vegetables. “Adder’s fork and blind-worm’s sting, lizard’s leg and howlet’s wing.”
“For a charm of powerful trouble, like a hell-broth boil and bubble.” Ryeowook continues, adjusting the fire on the stove.
Shindong stares at the two of them in the kitchen. Yesung returns to his room to make sure that Ddangkoma is safe.
“No way in hell are they making the last dinner I have before I go to the army.” Eeteuk swears to Kangin, who nods solemnly.
4. Twelfth Night
“Is that you, Donghae?” Eunhyuk asks suspiciously.
“Do you doubt that, Eunhyuk-ah?” Donghae raises a brow in puzzlement.
“But, but…” Eunhyuk’s swings his head back and forth between the two identical people. “How have you made two of yourself? I’ve never seen two people more like twins! Which one is my Hae?” He winks at Donghae, mentally congratulating himself for putting a little fanservice in there.
(Henry tries not to groan, and starts thinking about the speculations that Antonio was actually gay for Sebastian…)
“This is amazing.” Krystal deadpans, not looking in the least bit amazed. She ignores the sharp nudge Eunhyuk gives her while Donghae and Amber continue their long-winded dialogue.
Kris tries not to yawn. It’s boring being Duke Orsino.
“Oh, that memory lives in my soul! My father’s life was ended on that day my sister turned thirteen.” Donghae looks a little sad at the mention of dead fathers, earning a collective sigh from the other Super Junior members watching by the side.
“If nothing else will stop us being happy but my manly attire,” Amber gestures to her baggy pants and top, “then wait until circumstances show that I am Amber - which I’ll confirm by my old girly clothes that I left…um, somewhere?” She ends lamely, having forgotten her lines.
“Please, as if you own any girly clothes.” Krystal breaks out of character for the umpteenth time.
“WHY ARE YOU ALL RUINING SHAKESPEARE FOR ME?” Henry wails from the sidelines.
Bonus: Romeo and Juliet
“Oh Yunho, Yunho, wherefore art thou U-Know?” Jaejoong declares in a melancholic tone while gazing out his window at the brightly lit city.
Yoochun looks up from his drama script with a puzzled look on his face. Junsu’s kimchi-laden chopsticks halt in their intended journey towards his mouth.
“Deny SM and refuse thy name, or if thou wilt not, be but sworn my love, and I’ll no longer be under CJES.”
“What the hell is he talking about?” Junsu hisses in alarm.
Yoochun leans back slightly and observes the oldest member prattling on. “That, my friend, is Shakespeare in love.”
“What’s in a name? That which we call a song by any other name would sound as sweet!” Jaejoong placed a hand dramatically over his heart.
“Time to call leader-ssi.” Junsu grumbles, and begins dialling.

Please comment! I'm sorry it wasn't funnier *major fail*
I also apologise to any Shakespeare lovers out there for butchering the dialogue :P
