I got the JoAnn's Job!
As always, I've been very busy lately. The funeal on Friday was very nice, but pretty unorganized. That is understandable though, as it was planned quickly. It was mass also, which I was not expecting, but it was still nice. Also, there were bagpipes at the end! I felt very weird getting excited at a duneral for bagpipes, but alas, I was! After, my brother, his girlfriend and I took 2 of our relatives from California back to Lansing with us. After, I got my costume together and went to Rachel's party but did not feel comfterable in the least there, so I called my mom and she picked me up and we came home. Then I hung out with Lauren and we got coffee and watched the sad ending to the World Series.
Then it was Saturday. Saturday morning I had the interview at JoAnn Fabrics, and... I GOT THE JOB!!! Granted, it is only seasonal right now, but still, it's something and I am excited.
After the interview, I went to Nicole's party and it was so much fun. I ended up staying the night because I was tired. It was a lot of fun and I knew a lot of people there. I learned that marshmellows and chocolate go very well together. I felt really comfterable because I knew so many people there. Anyways, got up around 3, came home, slept till 6, ate dinner, and now I should probably fill out my orientation papers and get to sleep.
Tomorrow is the day before halloween and I am kinda excited. I have no idea what I am doing tomorrow, but if anyone would like to go to the Sundance Riding Stable's Haunted Hayride, let me know because I really, really, really wanna go. I'll even get directions and pay for gas. Let me know!
