Hmm, it's been a while since I've updated. What has been going on you may ask? Well, I quit my job (as not to get fired) and have had a lot of free time since then. I have been filling that free time with practicing for driving, going to rummage sales, making things (that's a given) and hanging out with friends! Oh, and also looking for a new job. Last week, Lexy and I put in about 9 applications various places in the area. I've heard nothing back yet, but I have hope. Another thing I have been doing a lot of lately is bowling. Hopefully I will go bowling today with someone who is very good, so that I can learn more.
And then there's college. It's going pretty good as well. I've finally gotten used-to the schedule. Although, it is still strange to be in class at 8 and 9pm, and it is very strange to get out of class at 10pm, but that's just how it works for me right now. I still really like my classes and I still resally like my classmates and teachers. I got a B on my 2 latest math tests, which make me happy!
Um, other than that...I got these 2 old 35mm cameras from 1979 at a yard sale. As soon as I get batteries and new film, it's going to be a good time. I love old cameras. Especially 35mm SLR's, but these are not.
Today is one of those days one has a lot of hope for. I have a lot of things I need to get done that I have been neglecting to do. Such as homework, applying another place, and so on. Also, there's CONTRA DANCING TONIGHT!! I'm pretty excited for that.
Oh, and I went back to the high school for the first time since we got out last night. It was the homecoming game, so of course my friends and I went just to see the band. Beforehand, Lexy, my mom and I went to an amazing rummage sale. You shall see the fruits of my labor later. After, was the game. We only stayed till 1/2 time and then went to Taco Bell and then to Andy and Greg's dorm. There were water guns there (small ones) which made it more interesting...as well as hydrating. It was really nice seeing everyone last night though. It made me miss high school a little bit. Being able to see everyone, every day, I miss that. I don't see the same people every day at LCC. Sometimes often, but not always. I'm glad I got to see a bunch of people last night. I surely have missed you! Perhaps I'll stop by the high school sometime and say hi to people, we'll see...
