"This is what you picked up after I left you?" Dong YoungBae mocked, tilting his chin in that scrawny kid’s direction.

Fixing his gaze on the kid wearing the matching couple shirt with YooBin, YoungBae did a head to toe scan of his newly found replacement. Surely YooBin was growing desperate. YoungBae was ninety nine percent sure that this was some cheesy and lackluster act to lash out at his infidelity.

But then again...

"Um, news flash YoungBae, I left you. Remember?" YooBin clipped her words like music played in staccato, breaking YoungBae out of his internal brain storm. YoungBae grit his teeth as he watched his ex reach back to take the new kid's arm by the wrist.

Just that small gesture of intimacy was enough to blur YoungBae's vision into dark shades of red.

The fucking bitch looked way to smug for his own comfort. Normally, YoungBae would have done something equally childish in return like by acting overly touchy with Sunye, but for whatever reason, YoungBae couldn't simmer his temper down long enough to think straight.

He was quickly losing his cool.

Just when Sunye looked like she was getting ready to protest at YooBin's sassy comeback, YoungBae cut her off by addressing JiYong directly.

"I should warn you kid, YooBin is a ticking time bomb. I'd run away as fast as possible. Besides, she's practically a nun. Won't put out until you get her what she wants." YoungBae practically hissed, taking a step forward.

Sunye probably wasn't going to be too happy about this new revelation, but YoungBae wasn't giving a flying fuck at the moment.

***

JiYong was completely lost to the world as some strange emotional inferno seemed to envelope the group of people standing in front of him.

He'd simply said hello to the only person he'd begun developing a friendship with at his new school and in a matter of seconds; things started to snap and crumble like some horribly awry game of Jenga.

First, YooBin was wearing the matching couple shirt she'd picked out for him a few days ago in the fashion district. While this struck the boy as being odd, JiYong's mind had hardly anytime to muse over the new revelation before the guy JiYong had just been introduced to started running his mouth with foul comments.

Conflicted and not understanding the words spewing out of the other high school boy's mouth, JiYong actually turned around to look to see if there was someone standing behind him that JiYong had missed. Surely none of the string of implied accusations coming from the shorter boy applied to JiYong in anyway. So what the hell was going on here?

Perhaps this barely contained volcano of a boy was referring to someone coincidently standing right behind him?

Nope.

There was definitely no one standing behind him.

"YooBin-ah... maybe I should leave you alone to talk to your... uh... friends?" JiYong's voice almost seemed to squeak compared to the cold and dry words that had spewed forth from the boy with the attitude problem.

While JiYong certainly felt a bit ruffled with all the derogatory words this boy was calling his friend, JiYong certainly didn't want to involve himself in a squabble that had no relevance to him. Seeing how alcohol was involved, perhaps the other boy was drunk and rambling.

Intoxication was the answer that made the most sense to JiYong.

"I'll wait for you over in the living room, kay?" JiYong placed his hand on YooBin's shoulder, tapping gently to signal that he was going to let her finish her business while he waited for her somewhere else.

Pivoting his feet, JiYong turned to leave the kitchen to head for the living room.

***

YoungBae had acted so quickly, Sunye hadn't even had the opportunity to stop her boyfriend from going into blood lust. The moment YooBin's new found boyfriend had placed his hand on YooBin's shoulder, YoungBae had glided a few steps forward to catch the pivoting boy by the shoulder.

Just a fraction outside of her well manicured grasp, Sunye shrieked out loud as YoungBae whirled YooBin's alleged boyfriend around and delivered a five knuckle stamp squarely to the kid’s nose.

Sunye's screaming for the madness to stop was only joined by YooBin's infuriated yelling.

YoungBae had just punched JiYong.

And then he did it again.

Digging her nails into YoungBae's back, Sunye clawed on whatever fabric she could get a hold of to pull her boyfriend back from assaulting YooBin's significant other further than he'd already done.

YoungBae looked like he was ready to go to town.

And to add to the confusion, Sunye had no idea why YoungBae was acting out like this at all. Well, that wasn't exactly true. In the recess of Sunye's mind she knew exactly why, but Sunye refused to believe it.

"What are you doing!" Sunye lambasted as she clenched her nails on the cotton fabric of YoungBae's shirt, stretching the material.

An uncomfortable silence clung to the room after the young boy had clarified his last statement, making the situation more awkward than it had already been. If it hadn't been for the fact that the television was still on, SeungHyun was sure that someone would've been able to hear the figurative cricket chirp from some imaginary place.

But there was literally nothing that popped up in SeungHyun's mind that he could use to formulate some sort of functional sentence. So instead, SeungHyun simply worsened the situation by stammering.

"You uh... I mean, yeah...cool" SeungHyun stammered, feeling his face grow redder. And only when the silence had once again enveloped the room did SeungHyun do a mental double take. Did he just fucking say cool?

Old habits die hard and the wrong word had been inserted in the wrong place.

"Rather, that's not cool." SeungHyun uttered, trying to save himself from a previous blunder. That didn't last long as the taller boy did another mental double take.

"Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying what your doing is not cool, I'm just saying that... that... yeah." SeungHyun's voice trailed off.

"No wonder why you got your ass beat. You're a complete moron," the younger boy quipped.

Normally, such a statement would have ticked SeungHyun off into a temperamental fit, but the way SeungRi started chuckling after insulting him made SeungHyun realize that the younger boy was probably right.

SeungHyun started chuckling himself.

And soon, with the awkward aura lifted, both boys started laughing obnoxiously. The tension had been broken; the stress on both these poor souls had been temporarily lifted. Feeling a bit of his smart ass self return, SeungHyun grinned and spoke in jest.

"Fifty bucks is a bit cheap for a blow job. You mustn't be very good," the older boy laughed.

"Why don't you see for yourself," SeungRi retorted in a sudden somber tone, his eyes now once again glued to the television set.

"Wha... what?" SeungHyun began to stammer again.

"Relax hot shot, I was joking. Well... kind of. I already checked your wallet. You're fucking broke," SeungRi grinned, taking a quick pause from his television watching to offer SeungHyun a quick wink.

The taller boy's jaw hit the floor for the millionth time tonight.

SeungHyun glared at the boy and felt insulted, dumbfounded, and just a tad bit bothered all at the same time. Where the hell did this rascal come from?

***

DaeSung, Bomi, and HyunSeung all stared in shock as the scene unfolded before their eyes. While it was still a delayed reaction, it was only a matter of seconds before HyunSeung and DaeSung dashed forward to help the two girls break up the rather one sided fight.

Bomi seemed in no rush to join the scene and appeared to wither back a few steps instead of running after the two boys to help subdue the conflict.

While HyunSeung and Sunye seemed to have their hands full of trying to restrain YoungBae, DaeSung didn't have to do much with JiYong. He simply stood in the middle ground, watching as JiYong's nose bled a colorful crimson.

"Hey, you okay?" DaeSung asked wondering why he was at the side of another stranger that was bleeding on himself a few days apart from the last incident.

DaeSung shook his head clean of that last train of thought. He hadn't called DongWook hyung to ask for the explanation and neither SeungHyun nor SeungRi had called since that fateful night.

"Let me go," DaeSung could hear YoungBae yelling at HyunSeung, breaking the brown haired boy from his trance.

"I'm fine," JiYong retorted to DaeSung's question while pinching the bridge of his nose. The boy kept his head tilted back to try and minimize the bleeding.

"Here, use this tissue," a Malaysian girl appeared at their side offering a few sheets of Kleenex. Caught up in the drama of the moment, DaeSung forgot to even ask for her name. He simply took it from her and offered it to the new kid with the bleeding nose.

This was some kind of house party. It was the last time DaeSung was tagging along with Park Bom to any type of "event” where she required a date.

It was in that process of stuffing JiYong's nostril with tissue that a firm resounding smack reverberated throughout the room causing everyone to stop in their tracks and go silent.

YooBin had just slapped YoungBae across the face.

And by the appearance of the red hand mark that appeared on the enraged boy's cheek, she'd smacked him pretty hard.

DaeSung grimaced because YooBin hadn't stopped there.

She'd taken that glass of pineapple and rum that YoungBae had been pouring for himself and had thrown it in Sunye's face.

"Are you done asking questions now?" SeungRi asked after another moment of silence passed between them. Looking away from the television set after the current programming transitioned into commercials, the younger boy examined the roughed up stranger a bit closer.

"Yeah, I'm done" SeungHyun added, scratching the back of his head.

"Then my turn," SeungRi commented, turning his body around so that he could make eye contact with the taller boy.

"Why'd you get beat up?" SeungRi questioned.

"I didn't get beat up" SeungHyun snapped back.

"Oh. Let me guess. You fell down and the concrete did that to your face." SeungRi snorted.

"Fuck off; I got hit a few times. I didn't get beat up," SeungHyun mumbled, his fingers now playing with the towel he'd been using to dry his hair.

"Okay tough guy, so why'd you get hit a few times," SeungRi asked once more, his voice dripping with sarcasm. He even finished his question with a roll of his eyes.

"I owe this guy some money." SeungHyun sighed, not exactly wanting to talk about this subject at the moment.

"How much money?" SeungRi interrogated further out of curiosity.

"None of your business," SeungHyun shout back.

"That much eh?" SeungRi chuckled.

"Fuck you," SeungHyun scowled.

"You probably would," SeungRi shot back while tossing off the blanket and bed sheets that he'd been using to cover his nude upper body. Swinging his legs off the bed, SeungRi sat on the edge of the mattress before standing up. The boy scanned his gaze from one side of the room to the next, trying to remember exactly where he'd tossed about his various articles of clothing.

"Hey, hey... what are you doing?" SeungHyun stammered, grabbing a fistful of bedding to cover his torso.

"Going home. Did you think I was just going to stay here with you? I don't even know you," SeungRi stated as he picked up his jeans from the floor. They hadn't really dried from being soaked in the rain, but at least it wasn't dripping wet.

"Not that you being a stranger would stop me," SeungRi added as if the irony of his remarks had just bloomed on him. "But you’re not a paying customer."

SeungHyun watched in silence as SeungRi continued to dress.

"Get out of my house!" YooBin screeched at the top of her lungs, still holding the now empty glass in her hand with a rather threatening pose.

HyunSeung did not need a second directive to act, especially now that Sunye looked more and more enraged by the second. He couldn't blame her as the flawlessly dressed girl dripped sticky pineapple juice and rum onto the marble tiled floors.

"Come on guys, lets get you out of here," HyunSeung coaxed, grabbing YoungBae by the arm and Sunye by the wrist. Unlike what he'd originally expected, YooBin's slap had put YoungBae into a sort of strange tranquil daze whereas Sunye's anger seemed to bloom by the passing second.

"You cunt," Sunye huffed as she was dragged by the wrist towards the exit. If Sunye's eyes had been daggers, YooBin would've been dead many times over now.

"Who the hell do you think you are?" Sunye continued, fighting against HyunSeung's grip. The girl was so determined into getting herself a piece of YooBin, HyunSeung ended up abandoning YoungBae entirely in order to restrain Sunye.

"I'm the owner of this house. And I'm saying, get your ass out my door," YooBin snarled, taking a step forward. Xuan stepped between the two lionesses, barring YooBin from going any further towards Sunye.

"Come on Sunye, let’s get out of here." YoungBae suddenly spoke, grabbing Sunye's wrist from HyunSeung. Whatever had happened, YoungBae's spell had broken. The boy still appeared to be simmering with emotions, but it seemed now like it was more resentment than anger.

HyunSeung watched in amazement as YoungBae towed an unwilling Sunye out the door. She was literally kicking and screaming. What the hell had just happened?

***

"Hey, before you go, give me your number," SeungHyun asked the now fully dressed SeungRi.

"No," SeungRi answered curtly.

"No?" SeungHyun clarified, one eyebrow raising higher than the other. Certainly that wasn't the answer he'd been looking for.

"Yeah, don't waste your time hyung," SeungRi replied softly as he grasped the door handle.

"What are you talking about?" SeungHyun asked, completely confused now.

"Don't go get beat up again," SeungRi chuckled as he opened the door and exited.

***

JiYong allowed himself to be led up the stairs by YooBin. He didn't ask any questions or bothered to make any snide remarks about what had happened a few minutes ago downstairs in the kitchen. Perhaps he was too numb with shock to aggressively seek answers.

Perhaps he didn't care.

There was a part of JiYong that had relished the punch to his face as weird as that sounded. It had been the literal period at the end of his metaphorical sentence. The stress of leaving his hometown and locating to this crazy city had dimmed his senses.

JiYong hadn't felt adrenaline rush through his veins like this in a long time. He could vividly remember how angry that shorter boy had looked with high definition quality.

"Here, this is my room, "YooBin's voice broke the train of thought. “Go sit on the bed while I get some more tissue from the bathroom."

JiYong obeyed.

"You don't need to get more tissue. It stopped bleeding," JiYong remarked as he pulled out the wad of tissue that had been stuffed into his nostrils.

"But still I think..." YooBin's voice sounded distant as JiYong listened to her mutter a string of curse words as she rummaged through her bathroom cabinets. He could no longer comprehend what she was saying until she came back carrying a cold pack.

"Here, put this on your face so you don't get a bruise," YooBin ordered, handing the cold pack to JiYong.

"Okay... so do I get an explanation," JiYong asked softly. There wasn't a touch of resentment in his voice or an accusation. But JiYong wasn't stupid; he now had a clear understanding of what had taken place downstairs. He just wanted to hear it out loud from YooBin.

"I won’t sugar coat it. That was my ex-boyfriend. I broke up with him about a week ago because he was cheating on me with that bitch Sunye." YooBin fumed.

"And?" JiYong encouraged her to continue on with her explanation.

"So I wanted to get back at him. Make him feel jealous," YooBin sighed. "Sorry JiYong, I used you because you were the new kid no one knew."

"Ah... I see," JiYong nodded his head, holding that cold pack against his nose.

"I'm a bitch, huh," YooBin added softly, staring at the carpet.

"Well I think your plan worked. Your ex-boyfriend was definitely jealous," JiYong chuckled, now massaging his sore nose with the cold pack. JiYong already felt like the swelling on his face was slowly subsiding because of the cold pack.

"You’re not mad?" YooBin asked cautiously.

JiYong shook his head.

"Actually, no. It's kind of strange, but I thought it was fun. If you want to continue antagonizing him, I'll continue to play the part of your boyfriend." JiYong grinned mischievously.

YooBin looked shocked at first, but then she crossed her arms across her chest and then a wicked grin donned her features.

"It's on you crazy bastard."

***

SeungHyun lay in bed staring at the ceiling. So caught up in his thought, the physical aches and pains on his body were almost completely forgotten.

Of course that was until the boy tried to turn to his side, and the pain flared back up and reminded him exactly of his current predicaments.

Sighing, SeungHyun shook his head and closed his eyes.

The kid had definitely been strange, but it wasn't something SeungHyun should have been losing sleep over. After all SeungHyun was sore and extremely tired.

But why had the kid called him “hyung?” Sure he was older, but the bastard hadn’t been following proper etiquette since they’d first met. What had changed?

***

DaeSung, Bomi, and HyunSeung sat around a small coffee table at a twenty four hour Starbucks coffee shop and gossiped about the night’s dramatic performance.

The whole event at YooBin's house would be the hottest topic across the school campus when school started back up on Monday. And the trio had a strange feeling that they were going to be grilled by their classmates on what had exactly happened at the party.

HyunSeung had been happily chatting away about YoungBae and YooBin's dark past when DaeSung's phone began to buzz.

"Weird, it's an unknown number," DaeSung shrugged, looking over at Bomi. "Should I answer it?"

"Yeah. It could be an emergency," Bomi replied looking a bit concerned.

"Hello, this is DaeSung," the boy chirped vibrantly into his phone.

"...'Sup." A deep baritone voice answered back.

DaeSung's face paled.

Authors Note (Part Deux):

So it’s been almost a year since I’ve last updated this story. Since then, Park Bom debut with 21. G-Dragon and Tae Yang both released solo activities, Se7en went back to Korea, and HyunSeung debut with a group called Beast?

Wow, have I missed much or what? Normally I’m completely inspired by Tae Yang, and I figured it would be his solo comeback that made me want to write, but it was kind of JiYong that got me back on the YG love. JiYong should be blonde for life. Totally digging him right now (I know I’m late for the party, as his solo activities have already been over for quite some time). JiYong went from my least favorite to my number two spot.

As for the readers of this chapter, don’t expect the next chapter anytime soon because I’ll be off to Chicago for at least two weeks. Unless I can’t sleep in my hotel room and end up furiously typing away on my laptop, the update wont happen for a while.
