Is it poor form to ask someone if you can go to their party? Particularly if you're not going to see that person, but a friend, who might not be there the whole time? Because asking said friend makes me feel desperate. And I don't like that - it doesn't work for me. It doesn't work for anyone. And last time, it was disastrous. If I could not repeat that, things would be ace... Well, if I could repeat the reciprocated feelings, but leave out he overly clingy/craziness of it, that'd be even better.
Things would be easier if I didn't have trouble speaking to people.
Or if I didn't have trouble thinking and breathing around him...
