Darren just got a job offer that'll pay 30k more a year that he currently makes. Downside: 2 less weeks of vacation this year and 1 less next year. (He currently gets 5. Will start at 3 this year and 4 next year.) It's in his field that he has his degree in (sustainable/renewable energy). We won't have to leave our area and it seems very nice.
However I'm torn. I loved those 5 weeks of vacation. We take 2-3 vacations a year and he helps me with my shows on top of that. 5 weeks is so wonderful. But 30k more is amazing. I just don't know. I'm going to be supportive and let him fully decide because it is his career.
This is such a first world problem, but I'm thankful that's the kind of problem I'm dealing with today, considering all the stuff that we've gone through lately.
