Very well written. Hmmm... almost the exact same thing happened to me. :) And there were no errors that I noticed. And I'm from the US and learned that in school so it's good. Sounds like Jess too. Liked it.

Hee. Jess in school. I'm surprised he didn't get more detentions for his attitude!

I also did not notice any discrepancies. Math is math.

lol...I had to do it. :) And well, I'm not at all used to the whole thing with detention...we never had that in school here, at least not where I went to school... But you know...he did answer the question. ;)

Detention is when you have to stay after school -- just read the article, it explains it better than me.

And yeah, he did answer the question, but I mean -- if I ever told a teacher that I would never have any use for what they're teaching? But hee. Was he right?

lol, I know what detention is...just not got any experience of it.

No I don't think telling your teacher thier subject is pointless would be a good idea either. ;)

And of course he was right! ;) lol

Lol. I wish Jess had been in my math classes in high school. They would have been so much more entertaining.

I love the way he questions the point of learning this (something I've often done in my head) and then goes and gives the right answer. Absolutely perfect.
