Stealing Breath
It was gorgeous. His eyes almost ached looking at it. For the first time since he’d come home, he felt like he was, well, home. Somehow, it was even more beautiful than he remembered. He hadn’t thought anything could match the picture of it he’d held in his head for the last day, but actually seeing the city coming to life around him blew his memories out of the water. Stunned, he stood in silence for a few nanos, taking it all in.
And then next to him there was a movement, and he turned to see one Dot Matrix looking up at him, and he realized that as beautiful as the newly restored Mainframe was he was looking at a vision far more breathtaking.
