Detecting a theme? Good. It's my birthday today, in case you were wondering why you couldn't get a hold of me (I was out celebrating with abby and family all night). Woot.
Makes me wonder a bit, though, on the importance of growing a year based on a set day. Sometimes I almost think this monument, this time of "aging", as it were, should be judged by experiences and not actual years, by life-changing moments instead of a set date on the calender and a song.
But then I think, who the hell am I kidding? This way I get cake!
