what did you think of me dad growing up from a little kid to a young lad from that troubled teen to this man still searching out what is to become of me what did you think will you tell me honestly did i suprass expectations or take turns in opposite directions from what you had thought i'd do from what you did or what you've never had to do did i rise to the occasion and proud as you could ever be did i make you think to yourself "i'm glad he came from me" did i make choices you wanted to take back from me to show me the right way did i make you clench your teeth worried and distraught did it scare you to sleep did i learn from mistakes in your opinion have i made you proud do you tell stories of me to your peers or refer to me as that other kid of yours if there were some other place i could go would you have sent me there intricately detailed take your time i'd like to know your thoughts when did i bring you shame what have you thought of me through the years
