indecision defines reality and wrong way one-ways are sometimes the only way to go to find the answer to the questions that are bothering you. i think all in all it's the method by which we search for the answers that defines who we are rather than the questions themselves because when you really think about it even knowing the answer doesn't save you from the end result. i think wrecklessly running through the rain in order to answer the question "what does it feel like to run through the rain?" says a little something different about you than the guy that sits staring out the window asking the same question until he's 53 (and on a ventilator from asthema complications when he finally attempted to run through the rain at 52). speaking of running through the rain and life and all, wrecklessly running through the rain may single handedly be one of life's greatest pleasures. and if the fear of catching a cold has stopped you thus far from pursuing that oh so attainable dream then i'd be willing to bet you never didn't keep your hands and feet inside the car until the ride came to a full and complete stop. and that you'd never had a bruise you were unable to explain. sometimes i find that those unexplainable little puzzles in every day life keep curious the mind as to what tomorrow might infinately bring. see it's not the answer nor the answers that we seek that keep the soul alive. it's the pursuit. but every now and then an answer comes that didn't have a question. it jumps up in front of your face and sometimes without hesitation or complication it wraps it's arms around you and holds on. it holds on squeezes so tight that before you realize it you were looking for this all along. you didn't even know it. and that could happen tomorrow or it could have happened today. for the most part we search of that thing disguised as other questions. pursue lofty goals aspirations dreams of success and secluded tropics. but what would those tropics look like alone in the rain? there is no real method to the madness called life. no superstitions to save the day, no questions to ask to light the way, and you can do nothing to stop it there's nothing you can say. you can do one thing it's not hard to do it right. you can let yourself love and let go of the fight. let go of the things that need not be said. we're all looking for the same thing on our way to being dead. help each other along and make the journey easier to bear today as you look outside and a smile crawls across your face when you ask yourself what it's like to run wrecklessly through the rain.
