John had left. He was with The Brotherhood now. Bobby had stayed. He was an X-Men now. That alone meant they should take each other out whenever they faced in battle.
But labels had never meant much to either boy. They were best friends before they were supposed to be enemies. That's why they stared at each other on Alcatraz. For a minute they both only saw a friend, someone they'd shared secrets with.
Now they were Iceman and Pyro. No longer Bobby and John. Enemies. No longer friends. Now fire and ice collided.
