013: Drabble: Alphabet
Title: Joseph and the Purple Crayon
Prompt: Alphabet
Word Count: 280, meh.
Characters: Joe/ Demi, Kindergarten age :)

Summary: Basically in the dream-world of Demi and the boys being friends forever :) It's about Demi and Joe meeting, first day of Kindergarden.
It was hard to write from the perspective of a 5 year old, idk..

"There are no K's in this class, so Joseph Jonas? Demi Lovato? You are sitting next to eachother at this table."
Joseph dragged his feet over to the table, and sat down. The girl was already sitting there, staring at him and his brand-new Barney bookbag, filled with folders and crayons and first-day-of-Kindergarten shenanigans.
She kept on staring, as he took out his crayons from his bag, preparing to color the picture in place on his desk.
"Can I share with you? I forgot my crayons at home," Demi said to him.
Joseph noticed a gap in between her teeth when she talked to him and decided that he didn't like any girl who could lose their first tooth before him.
So even though he distinctly remembered the "sharing is caring" lecture Mommy gave him that morning, he said firmly,
"No."
And so Joseph began coloring, being very careful to stay inside the lines, because Kevin told him that they kick you out of Kindergarten if you don't. He was looking for his purple crayon to color his, well everything but the sky, with, when he found it in the hands of a certain someone.
"That's my purple," he said, sticking his hands out expectantly.
Demi just went on coloring, not even glancing up to say, "Purple's a girl's color."
Joe, momentarily confused, decided that the appropriate response was, "Barney's purple."
"I am on Barney," Demi continued, unphased.
He didn't even understand what that meant, but all Joseph knew was that: he was already one purple crayon short, and maybe he'd change his last name when he got home, because he wasn't about to risk the loss of more next to this crazy girl.

Oh, and PS! Who just watched their live chat? Can I just say, joe's spontaneous dancing + nick's spontaneous laughter was the best thing ever?!
