I do too, it so sad that he didn't get to spend more time with Kelly.

But in ways I think he makes up for it with Abby. Not that she replaced Kelly, I just think he holds her in the same regard as his only daughter...

He's just sort of a natural father type - you see it with him and McGee a little too. He pulls all the strays under his wing :D
