Pheewwww...the Hinky Awards ceremony is over

Well the NFA Hinky Awards' Ceremony is over.  and was that exhausting!  lol...the chat was just insane lol.... it was just flying by.

And then there was the challenge of my presenting - and I had three separate chat windows going being myself, Tony, and Creepy!Tony.  lol...what a ZOO!  But it was awesome.  And so many great fics were recognized.

I was completely overwhelmed by my shear number of nominations, fifteen to be exact.  It was crazy.  And the number of awards I actually won was even MORE overwhelming to be honest.  But here's a list of what I took home:

2nd Place - Outstanding Work In Progress - "Three's Company, Four's A Family"
3rd Place - Outstanding Suspense Genre - "His Angel With Fangs"
3rd Place - Outstanding Crossover Genre - "Bit Parts"
Honorable Mention (missed tying 3rd place by 1 vote) - Outstanding AU - "His Angel With Fangs"
1st Place - Outstanding Shannon/Kelly Genre - "His Princess In All Stars"
2nd Place - Outstanding Tony Characterization - "His Angel With Fangs"
1st Place - Outstanding NC-17 Het Romance - "His Hidden Kink"
2nd Place - Outstanding Romance Gibbs/Abby - "His Hidden Kink"
3rd Place - Outstanding Romance Gibbs/Abby - "Private Conversation"

So I am exhausted from staying up most of the night and finishing my presenation script and getting up for the early ceremony, but I am so excited about the awards.  It really is encouraging to know that my peers enjoy my work that much.

So now I'm off to put up my Christmas tree and then it will be time for a nap I think.  lol....
