“What you’ve never done something you might be ashamed of?”
Beckett rolled her eyes, “Of course, everyone has.”
Castle grinned, “Care to share?”
“Never.” She whispered in his ear, and then turned walking away.
“I’ll catch you doing something embarrassing.” He challenged her.
A few days later she called him telling him about a case, but he hadn’t answered. She left a message, expecting to see him at the crime scene. When he didn’t show there and hadn’t called to tell her where he was, she decided to make sure things were okay.
Beckett knocked on the door of his apartment. “Hey Beckett!” He opened it, in a pair of sleep pants and no shirt. She swallowed … hard. “Sorry I overslept this morning and just got your message a few minutes ago. I’m getting ready now, you gonna give me a ride?” He winked at her.
Regaining her voice, “Sure.” Shaking her head in disapproval of herself she spoke again, “But hurry up Castle I don’t have all day.”
She heard him chuckled as he disappeared in his bedroom. She couldn’t help but follow the deep sound with her eyes. She soon wished she hadn’t, there instead of the back of a door she saw it barely closed and behind that a man with a chiseled torso and an… “Why Detective Beckett, are you watching me dress?” He spoke his boxer clad body turned away from her.
Her breath caught in her throat, “How…No…No I wasn’t.” Her head turned as he pulled on his pants.
He came out grinning buttoning his shirt, “Caught you.”
Her cheeks turned a slight shade of pink but quickly recovered as she smiled sweetly at him, “I’m not completely embarrassed.”
“No?”
“No.” Pausing, “Who says I didn’t like what I saw?”
