I must confess to being halted right at the goddess part. That idea is so rich that the rest of your proposal sailed right past. What kind of "rescue" was it? Do goddesses need to be rescued? How do goddesses get on in a mostly monotheistic world? Do they have to register, or get licensed? Do they operate under a veil of secrecy as in the Harry Potterworld? Do they have auras, or wings they have to keep tucked in their jeans? How do they reveal themselves? You know what it's like when someone you've just met tells you that they work for the CIA--they'll bore the crap out of you and leave you with the lunch tab. Is it different with those who announce over a latte that they are goddesses? Jeez, I hope you have fun with this one--but keep it simple :-)
