Happy Ending for Johnny
Here's the latest news from Dedre, the lovely woman who adopted my Johnny into her home about a week ago:
HELLO!!! Everything is going fantastic! We elected to change her name to Maisey to lessen the gender confusion over here. She thinks that the parakeets are aliens and hasn’t figured out why they want to follow her every where she goes. The Keets have named her their god and can’t get enough of her.
Tim was kind enough to take the hanging perch home and build it into a playset for them to play on and it has been a huge hit. We take it all over the house and the birds use it every day!
My daycare kids have been thrilled with our new addition and she has really been enjoying all of the attention!
I’m sure you guys are missing her terribly, but rest assured, she is being spoiled rotten and it seems to suit her very very well!

And I am so so so relieved and thrilled. I do miss that little squeaky yellow feathery thing. But it's so much better knowing she's in a home that gives her all the attention she wants. And I'm starting not to feel guilty anymore whenever I come home long after dark.
