Updates from the land of bliss
It's so easy to just blog when things are sucky (hate my job! hate dating!). But today I have nothing sucky to report. Skip this if you feed on other people's misery!
I'm all moved to my new apartment in Ballard, and the move was the fastest ever! Kudos to Rusty, Zina, Josh, Xti, Jon, Don, Dave, and Jim for helping me out. I've never made a move with so much stuff so fast... loaded and unloaded truck in 5 hours. Rusty deserves special props for making sure I was packed up ahead of time! Rusty is my hero. But more about him later. The apartment is great, though it's still hard to tell, with all the boxes everywhere... and I'm constantly looking for essential stuff, like socks, or the shower curtain. But that's kind of fun.
Just located a cool local (= not chain) coffee shop a block away. Free wifi, cool atmosphere. My future hang out (at least when I get tired of the boxes). Stop by Caffe Fiore on Leary to say hi!
My new part-time job is going well... although I'm so busy, I wouldn't mind at all if they made me full-time tomorrow. I remembered that I *like* tinkering with websites and learning new applications. I can even imagine diving deeper into information and web design. Maybe I'm on the right career path after all?
Ok, and Rusty. What can I say? Happy happy happy happy. I've never met anyone like him. I've never dated anyone like him. It's been just over a month, and I trust that man with my life. And my entire heart.
