Moving to Ballard... need help!
Dear kind sweet wonderful friends... :-) I need your help in a truly noble cause: help me move back to the West!
My apartment complex in Redmond is kicking me out, due to renovations (read: ugly paint job and ridiculous rent increases). I've taken the opportunity to look around, and found the apartment I want for the price I want in -- Ballard! (Yes. I'm eating a chocolate cupcake in Ballard as I type. This is a rough neighborhood.)
I'm so excited to be coming back into town, to Dunaville (inside joke). But it's happening soon: 1st of the month. Less than two weeks away. Yikes!
So, I could REALLY use your help in making the transition. I'll rent a U-Haul truck for the weekend, and everything that's worth taking is going all at once. Or maybe at twice. Since I have a gig on Saturday
evening in Bellingham, the best moving date is probably Sunday the 2nd -- but if there's any help available on Saturday the 1st in the morning, I'll take it! Please let me know if you can lend me a couple hours of your time and all your brute strength.
