STEPHENIE MEYER: Have you lost your mind?
I ABSOLUTELY HATED IT until near the end. Now I only kind of hate it. & I am slightly accepting what happened.
But... I fully expect Stephenie Meyer to jump out from behind me and yell "JUST KIDDING!"
I'm hanging on to that hope.
How freaking ridiculous was that stupid book, though?
It was NOTHING like the first three.
Bella getting pregnant? RENESMEE?! THE WORST BABY NAME EVER!
JACOB IMPRINTING ON RENESMEE?! I felt like I was reading a soap opera.
Seriously. Stephenie Meyer: have you lost your mind?!
The one thing I did get out of it was that I don't absolutely despise Jacob. He doesn't have to die, now. I'll let him live.
& I figured out one reason I hate it so much.
I loved the romance of the first three novels. I could feel the love between Edward and Bella. & this book? All they wanted to do was have sex all the time. After the wedding scene, I got no sense of love between them at all. Where the crap did that go? HUH?!
It was totally unrealistic to me, as well.
I still can't believe that that is how the book really is.
I'm just so... upset. It wasn't what I wanted at all.
So... I'm going to block out everything after they got married and make up my own happy ending. That'll have to work until I fully accept that this book is what Stephenie Meyer intended to write.
Ugh.
