Heeeeee! I love this - Jack does not appear in the least bit fazed by the encounter, as of course he wouldn't be. Except for the rum. Naturally, he's found a companion soul in Scotty, god rest him.

Now, if someone can just explain Jack's obsession with sea sponges and glue....

So glad you enjoye dit, darlin! I read the words "Captain's Log" and seriously could not resist the urge for Trekkie-fun. I grew up on Star Trek as my mom is quite the fan, and the whole thing just struck me as hilarious.

As for the sea sponges and glue: you know, I asked the elephant what the deal was, but he said we had to wait for the sequel. ;)

I'm getting this perverse image and it won't go away - beam me up, Scotty. And of course the sequel will be a disappointment - they'll show us the elephant, but only in the background, and he won't get to interact with anyone or resolve his angst, and there will be sponges everywhere, but no glue, and....sorry.
