[Team 1] New Tales from the 4U Cafe
A quick blurb...
Idols of the town. That’s what they had been called before. The girls from the local high school had loved to joke about it. Nowadays, nobody ever called them that anymore. “It’s so quiet and lonely here with all the girls graduated and gone all different ways,” Tatsumi sighed and flopped onto the counter. “ I miss them.”
Fukuda petted the other, “We do, too. It just feels different without them.”
Koshioka nodded, “At least some of them still come by but Takahashi-chan went so far away. I’m happy she got into her first choice school but...”
“Yeah...” Matsuzaki sighed. And then he sighed again, along with the other three.
They were wallowing in their misery when the door opened and somebody stepped inside.
“Woah, tall foreign beauty ahead,” Matsuzaki stared.
“She’s tall,” Tatsumi blinked.
The girl looked at them, worrying her lip nervously, “This is the 4U Cafe, right?”
“Yep! How can we help you?” Koshioka smiled at the girl and invited her further inside.
“Yasui-senpai said it was nice here so my boyfriend and I promised to meet here,” she said. Of course she didn’t notice how the four guys around her looked away for a moment as the heartbreak sunk in (‘Aah, she’s taken already...’).
“Ah, Yasui-chan,” Tatsumi caught himself again. “Well, have a seat then? While you wait. Want to order something? Also, what’s your name? I know this might be pushy but that’s how we roll~ And no, I didn’t steal that from the Rainbow Rollerskates Restaurant down the street.”
“I’m Lewis Jessica,” the girl introduced herself. “Nice to meet you.”
