[Team Three] Lessons learned
Ri always leaves me with the best words, and this is short and kind of dumb. However I think it's great and I hope you do too!
Even he knows that defeats the purpose of condoms, and yet Jinguji still finds himself sitting in yet another mandatory sexual education class, with a banana in front of him and an unopened condom packet next to it. This isn’t the strangest thing that they’ve been required to do as juniors, but it just feels useless since nobody is really paying any attention and a few of the others have already opened their bananas and begun to eat them. Jinguji just sighs, he’s sixteen and he’s seen plenty of videos where condoms had been used, honestly he doesn’t even need to be here for this.
“This is so embarrassing,” Genki mutters, and Jinguji just shrugs in response. “Why do we have to learn how to put condoms on bananas? This is ridiculous.”
Jinguji pokes at the banana before him again with frown. “Maybe there are some of us that don’t know how to use a condom properly,” Genki looks like he has something to say in response to that, but he keeps his mouth shut. “I mean really. It’s not like it’s hard to put one on, anyone who has had sex knows how to do it.”
“Don’t act like you know what you’re talking about, I’m with you all the time and you’ve never so much as kissed another person.” Genki says before Jinguji can continue on his mini rant.
“I could have, you don’t know my life,” Jinguji says easily, smirking when Genki rolls his eyes.
“We’re together all the time,” Genki replies. “If you were seeing someone, or even having sex with someone I am pretty sure I would be the first to know.”
Their conversation is cut short when they’re instructed to open the condoms and put them onto the banana as best as they can. Jinguji still doesn’t think it’s too difficult of a task, and waits until Genki and a few others are watching him as he easily tears the condom packet open and takes it out. He makes a weird face when the lubricant gets all over his fingers, but not being one for giving up he begins to roll it on. The condom goes on easy at first, but then it starts to get harder to roll it on completely. He uses more force than necessary and yelps when the condom snaps right off the banana and smacks him right in the eye.
The entire room erupts into loud laughter as Jinguji rubs his eye. “Stop laughing at me!”
“Well I guess some of us really do need these classes,” one of the older juniors say, and Jinguji narrows his eyes.
“The condom just wasn’t big enough for my large banana!” Jinguji hollers, earning even more laughs.
For the first time in a long time he leaves work angry and even more embarrassed. By the time he gets home he’s long forgotten what happened at work, going through his morning routine and freezing when he catches the bruise on his eye. Maybe he bumped it in his sleep or something, there’s absolutely no way this bruise is a result from having a condom snap into his face.
“Jinguji,” Genki says the moment he gets into the room. “That bruise…”
Jinguji just grins and touches the very edge of his eye. “You mean this? Totally got it from the girl I was with last night.”
Genki snorts. “I’m sure she was worth your while.”
Jinguji casually slings an arm around Genki’s shoulder. “Jealous that it wasn’t you I spent my night with?”
“As if,” Genki says, shouldering him away. “I’d hate to be the reason you have another condom snap in your face and leave you with another nasty bruise. What will your mother think?”
Jinguji blinks a few times as Genki walks away from him, and then he grins. “Who says we have to use one! Maybe I like it messy!”
