[Team three] the old razzle dazzle
This might could be a follow up to a couple of previous SG-1 snippets I've written. Not really sure lol
Stargate SG-1, very short, g-rated
"It's show time," Jack says as he presses the remote C4 detonator from his hiding spot in the bushes.
It's only half a second later before he can hear and see the explosion that rocks the Goa'uld mothership, rendering it unable to liftoff the planet and make an escape.
"That's what I'm talking about," Jack continues, pleased. "Giving the snakeheads the old razzle dazzle."
Teal'c raises one eyebrow but chooses not to comment otherwise on Jack's usual nonsense rambling during highly dangerous situations.
"As much as I enjoy watching the, uh, fireworks from exploding motherships," Daniel interrupts, "don't you think we ought to gate out of here now?"
Jack turns to Carter. "You ready?"
The major hefts up a backpack full of the tech they'd been sent here for, and then nods. "Everything is secure."
Jack readjusts the hat on his head, securing it just in case they have to dodge a few Jaffa patrols. "Alright then, kids," he says, turning away from the fiery scene in the distance. "Let's move out."
