I recommend you watch the Thai BL drama "Until We Meet Again" lol
This is based on that drama.
Before they knew it, they had dozed off in each others' arms. A lot had happened in these past few months and the events had taken more out of them than either of them might have thought.
It had all started when Sakuma had started his life as a university student. The night before his first day of classes, his dreams had him waking up in a cold sweat and with tears streaking his face. He’d always had dreams, these dreams, but this one had been different. This one had been more vivid somehow. Something was telling him that things were going to happen. Soon.
He arrived at the freshmen orientation and sat down in an empty seat next to a tall male up front - the back rows had already filled up. “Mind if I sit here?”
“Oh not at all!” The other had a friendly smile, Sakuma liked that.
They became friends as they sat through the orientation and did the various activities together as well as sat together during lunch. Sometimes people just ‘clicked’ and this was one such case. At the end of the day, Sakuma asked Abe:
“Have you thought about what kind of circle to join?”
Abe hummed softly and replied, “Don’t know if you’ve heard about it since it’s a bit of a minor sport but the bouldering club at this university is quite famous. One of my friends is a member, so I was thinking about joining that. Would you like to come and check it out?”
“Oh sure. They’re not too far from where the dance club is. I’ll take a peek,” Sakuma smiled and the two set off towards the gyms.
They found the bouldering club easily and watched as people climbed their way up the walls with the colourful rock-shaped grips on them. Two figures stood in the center, supervising the practice session. Abe called out to one of them, his friend. But it wasn’t him who Sakuma had his eyes on. Sakuma was looking at the taller male next to Abe’s friend.
Something stirred inside of Sakuma when he saw the other. A strong wave of nostalgia washed over him, along with a multitude of emotions. They were so strong it scared him.
Wiping at his eyes, he turned around. “Sorry, Abe-chan I think I’ll go and have a look at the dance club first. I’ll catch you later.” And with that he turned around and left.
“Oi, Hikaru, did you scare people off with your glare again?” Fukazawa sighed. “Hey Abe-chan. Who was that? Friend of yours?”
“Hey Fukka,” Abe smiled, “Ah, I guess? His name’s Sakuma and he’s also a freshman.”
“Shota…”
“Oh, you know him, Hikaru?” Fukazawa asked.
Abe frowned, “You must be mistaken. His first name is Daisuke.”
Iwamoto blinked. “Huh, what?”
Fukazawa elbowed the other, “Where were your thoughts? You’re not usually this spaced out.” Then he looked at Abe again. “You want to join, right? Let me get the paperwork.”
Elsewhere, Sakuma was trying to calm his suddenly racing heart. Flashbacks from his dreams appeared in front of his inner eye. Was this the person he kept dreaming about? Had he finally found them?
He placed a hand over his heart and he realized that he knew the answer to that question.
