Bungaku Shoujo, or, the original canon that writeshersnacks and writemeasnack both come from, is an adorable and very obscure series. It's simply wonderful, and I would really like to share this wonderful series with anybody who wishes to see it; to make that easier, I'm going to compile what I can find of Bungaku Shoujo here, for you all to see. :]
Bungaku Shoujo as an anime consists of, currently, three OVAs and a movie. There is rumored to be a fourth OVA coming out, which is believed to be about a character you first meet in the movie, Nanase. The first three, however, are available and subbed (though since the third one is a recent release, I may not be able to find anything subbed for it for a little while). I'll do what I can to keep this listing updated, as a loyal fan of the series.
bungaku shoujo: memoire 01
yumemiru shoujo no prelude
yumemiru shouko no prelude, or "prelude to the dream girl," is the first of the memoire OVA collection. Being the first, the OVA focuses itself more on the life of one of the major characters, Amano Toko. You'll learn her backstory, and it'll lead up to when she first meets Inoue Konoha.
As another note, I'd like to mention that this sub is okay, and mostly accurate. The only big problem I saw was near the end when Konoha's teacher referred to him as 'The famous author.' If in fact, he did say that, it was likely Toko just hearing things, because in all actuality, Konoha used the pen name of 'Inoue Miu' to hide his true identity, so by all means, while there is a name resemblance, nobody should know that he did, in fact, author that book. Unless they had something to do with it's publication. I'm looking at you, Toko-senpai.
That said, enjoy the the OVA. :D
bungaku shoujo: memoire 02
sora mau tenshi no requiem
Also known as "Requiem of the Sky Dancing Angel." This one is a backstory about Miu, and a warning right now: It's depressing. It does help the audience to understand Miu a bit better, but tbh, it doesn't really do a good job of making anyone feel sorry for her. Yeah, uh. Enjoy? I honestly wouldn't blame you if you wanted to punch Miu in the face after seeing it. I know I kinda did.

koisuru otome no rhapsody
"Rhapsody of the Love Maiden" is the third Memoire in the series, about Kotobuki Nanase. In comparison to the second OVA, it's a lot funnier and more lighthearted, and it's a throughly enjoyable story about how Nanase went from being totally tsundere to finally getting somewhere with Konoha. I have to agree with what one of the comments to this video said, though. They would've made a good couple ... but I don't feel bad about how the movie ended. I really do love Konoha and Toko.
bungaku shoujo: kyou no oyatsu ~ hatsukoi ~
This OVA focuses a little more on Toko and Konoha's relationship after they've known each other for a while. It's cute and fluffy. <3

I unfortunately could not find an embed for the movie that was subtitled in English (there IS one subtitled in German, if you wanna go look that up). I have found a place where it can be viewed streaming, however, and I'll provide the link for that here in biiiiig text.

Oh, no. There's a few mangas. Unfortunately, I could only find one of the three or so. Sad. But this one is really awesome.
bungaku shoujo to shinitagari no douke
Now, before you start reading this, keep one thing in mind. THE MANGA, IN THIS CASE, IS NOT A REPLACEMENT FOR THE OVAS OR THE MOVIE. This manga in particular has a very different storyline, so reading it does not automatically entitle one to knowing everything about the series as a whole. There are characters in the movie that play a very pivotal role in the manga, and also characters in the manga that act much differently than they do in the movie or the OVA. I suspect that we'll be seeing a little bit more of Nanase's personality being like it is in this manga during her OVA, for example. :] She was nothing like how she acts in the manga during the movie.
So yeah, just keep that in mind.
