April serial novel update!
Publishing day just around the corner!
OK, first things first...I'm now roughly 48% of the way through my edit. From my original total of around 251,000 words, that means I've currently edited about 120,480 words. Not too bad for having looked at the immense finished piece originally and thinking I'd never get through it. XD Also, my wonderful and lovely editor in chief gwoman has finished final edits for ten chapters.
In the intervening month, I've made a few decisions regarding what I'm planning to do about posting this story for public consumption. I've decided to post here at LJ, and I've created a new pen name to publish the story under: palladian23. Please do friend me there if you like; I'll be posting writing-related info there when/if I feel moved to, and I'll notify everyone when I post each story chapter, but I've actually created a community to post the novel to: superwebnovel. I'd love it if you'd join and follow the story there!
If you visit right now, you'll find there's nothing there, but I plan to post a dedication/start page between now and when I start posting the story proper. The schedule I've decided on is to post a full chapter (average 10-12 pages) on the third Thursday of every month. So...that would make the estimated date of my first chapter post to be...Thursday, May 17. *lets out deep breath, realizing that's about a month away*
All right, enough about all of that! I also wanted to thank all of you for helping me through all of the editing and thought process needed to get this off the ground. I hope you'll end up enjoying the final products of all of those mental gears turning!
