There is something in the spring air. It causes destruction during the ideal time of rebirth. I look out past the city, or try to: the smog prevents me from even seeing the city limits. I take a deep breath; holding in the air, hoping to figure out what exactly is in the air. My muscles quaking, lungs screaming, vision darkening - I release. Dust from the air sticks to the moist insides of my mouth, but I know it isn't the dust that is killing me. A breath in, a breath out. The dust piles up until I can't even feel moisture in my mouth. I am suffocating. My breathes become quick and sharp, I barely have time to get the air to my lungs. There is something in the air.
