Yay! I love seeing Spock flustered, and this story pushes all the right buttons. Poor McCoy, being called an unfit parent over a box of chocolates. XD I also love the ending, how Spock is kinda awkward but still goes right for what he wants! I have drawn a pic of Spock all flustered over hand holding, but I'm having computer issues. ;_; I have to go to work right now but when I get home this evening hopefully I can resolve the issue and get you the link! This was such a lovely story. I loved that poor Spock was confused by the various behaviours and I'd never given though to the fact that so many of the Valentine rituals would be a bit near the knuckle by Vulcan standards. It was lovely reading from Spock's POV - so few write it and you did it really well, his thoughts and dialogue really working for me. I love how Jim took the plunge with the 'romantic overture' and Spock's all 'yes, let's fuck!' and actually shocking Jim - brilliant! Thanks for a great read. ♥
