"I could stay here all day," Jim hummed hugging Pavel closer.

Pavel nodded although he knew the Enterprise always held a special place in the captain's heart. Pavel was probably seconded to that. Jim sighed softly.

There was a peaceful silence and the two of them were wrapped in the warmth of each other. It was a rare and welcomed treat.

The silence was broken in what felt like seconds later, with a call from the bridge for the Captain's presence immediately. It was difficult to say whose groan was louder.

Pavel rushed out first - out of Jim's arms like he has the plaque. He pulled on the first yellow shirt his hand can reach on the way out without checking if it's actually his or not.

Jim groaned and followed, like a teenager getting up in the am. He reached down to grab the remaining shirt and instantly released that it's Pavel's. He looked up in time to see Pavel leave, his shirt sleeves almost trailing behind him confirmed Jim's deduction.

"Pavel," he tried, knowing it was too late. The young Ensign was practically on the bridge already. Groaning he put Pavel's shirt on and walked to the bridge.

He tried not to hang his head in shame as he realised walking to the bridge dressed in Pavel's clothes was almost the same as having sex with Pavel on the bridge. Everyone would know exactly what they'd done.

He tugged at the sleeves and the hem of Pavel's shirt. He may have felt like he needed to lose a few pounds in recent years but this was stupid. Pavel was small and skinny so the sleeves and the hem rode up something else.

He reached the bridge to find Pavel already seated, the fact he was wearing the wrong shirt hadn't seemed to bother him. Or maybe he'd not even noticed.

"Keptin on the bridge," Pavel announced in his usual cheery fashion as the door slid shut behind Jim. Jim hid a blush. He tugged and pulled on Pavel's shirt. It felt like all the eyes on the bridge were watching him.

He let out a barely audible groan, and walked across to the Captain's chair, passing Bones who gave him a questioning look.

"Seriously?" Bones' eyebrows go skyward.

Jim, not knowing exactly what to say, remained quiet. He gave Bones a look to which his CMO simply rolled his eyes.

"Aren't you supposed to be in the MedBay?" Jim remarked ignoring the elephant in the room.
Bones sighed but left anyway.

Pavel wasn't having much fun wearing the Captain's shirt either. He'd only realised when he tried to plot a course and couldn't find his fingers amongst all the fabric.

Bones gives questioning looks as does Spock. Chekov gets on with his shift like nothing much is bothering him so Kirk decides to too.

Somehow the struggle to the end of shift passed without great incident. Well, nothing to write home about, and the crew seemed to carry on without mentioning it, which was a blessing.

Jim smiled as his eye finally got to drink in the glorious sight of Pavel in his shirt. He looked seriously cute; almost like a child wearing adult’s clothing, but somehow better. Jim’s mind starting to run away with itself; imaging Pavel in all sorts of positions wearing his shirt. There was something strangely, dangerously, kinky about having Pavel while his wearing his shirt.

He licked his lips and Pavel mirrored the action. There was no need to say what Pavel was thinking. What he was seeing in Jim wearing his shirt; great minds think alike. . .
