Those Midgardian garments were odd looking, sometimes. He was a Royal. A God. He needed something that stated that in Midgardian terms. Green and gold were his favourite, he could sneak those colours in.
He remembered in his readings a few images of the males in ridiculous looking outfits. He began to dress himself in a variety of Midgardian garments. He had multiple versions of himself around his quarters, each dressed in a different way.
Nothing stood out for him. He knew going as himself would frighten the humans, and that wasn't his plan, not just yet.
He sighed and seemingly picked out a fine suit, with a dash of green. He knew that colour symbolised a higher authority in the planet's history. This dress was a smart look, apparently. Every male at the event he was crashing would be wearing similar attire. He was sure to fit in.
It was just a vision, he knew. But he had to look the part, in order to further his plan. The doctor was his target.
Once he'd fooled the Midgardians he could revert back to his glorious Asgardian form, make an impact. He grinned.
Nothing screamed God than his usual dress.
