Summary: Rose wanders around the TARDIS
A/N: This is my first Doctor Who story, I posted it in a few different places, I have had it sitting here for almost 2 weeks now and figured I would never get feedback if I didn't post it somewhere. Umm based on prompt 20, 26 and 27 from
time_and_chips December Prompt Table. No beta, but checked for spelling in Word. Oh and I do not own them no matter how much I want to.
Wandering the halls of the TARDIS, Rose came across a door that was wrapped like a present that she had not noticed before. Pulling the ribbon to open the door, she let out a small squeal as it swung open and she was almost knocked down by hundreds of colorful balloons floating out. Walking into the room she saw the ceiling was covered in yet more balloons and the floor was flooded with ornaments, in the corners there were rolls of wrapping paper and all along one wall were ice boxes with glass fronts containing various cakes, including one that was covered in pink and white spiked meringue.
Walking around the room Rose noticed that there was soft music playing that changed depending on the section she was in. When she was in the corner with the wrapping paper it was Happy Birthday, and when she moved to a corner where snow was softly falling it was playing different Christmas tunes. She was so absorbed in investigating each part of the room she didn’t notice The Doctor leaning against the door frame until he shifted.
“What’s this room?” Rose asked turning around.
“It’s our party room of course.”
“Whatcha need a party room for?” She asked with a laugh.
“You never know when you’ll be in the mood for a party, always be prepared” he replied with a grin before he reached out and pulled her into a hug. “Wanna have a party with me, Rose?” he whispered to her.
