Kyon and Haruhi walked past a closed door in a school hallway. "I wonder why that door is marked 'Do Not Enter'," Haruhi said.
"Most likely," Kyon noted, "it's because you're not supposed to go in there."
Haruhi walked up to the door, found that it wasn't locked, and opened it.
After a moment, a visibly shaken Haruhi closed the door and rejoined Kyon. "Well?" Kyon asked. "What was behind the door?"
Haruhi grimaced and silently shook her head.
Kyon glanced back at the door, wondered what could have caused the brash Haruhi to back away, and shuddered to himself.
