Haruhi found Kyon filling out a lengthy paper form. "Is that a college application?" Haruhi asked.
"Yeah," Kyon said. "I thought I might as well get an early start, and apply for-"
Haruhi cut him off. "You haven't written down 'SOS Brigade' in your list of extracurricular activites!"
With Haruhi standing over him, Kyon had no choice but to write "SOS Brigade" on his form in ink.
After Haruhi nodded in satisfaction and walked away, Kyon sighed. This is why I got an early start, he thought. I still have time to get a second application form and start over.
